All the billion little particles floating around you—princes in their own right, and not just the noble gases—the carbons saying hello to hydrogen, nitrogen, complaining about oxygen-z and wind stuff in general…

Randomly pulled away for a moment, stuck in a strangers lungs, and then tossed out the front door without so much as a thank you.

Does the air we breath feel inconvenienced? Or honored to be invited in, and, taking off their shoes, lingering for a few moments, doing us the courtesy of keeping us alive?
