No one cares about your circumstances. 

Whether you’re hosting the trophy above your head, smiling down on attractive loved ones smiling at you, or staring in horror as the news of defeat announces just how futile all that trying really was.

We know. All the things we came up against, all the reasons it wasn’t our fault, or we got lucky, or we had to make it happen.

But life is too complicated for us to remember that about everyone else, the limits of what we can know forcing us to judge almost everything simply by its result.

So maybe we could put a little less weight on our own circumstance? After all, if no one else sees them, why should we?
