Electricity is how you’re reading this. How you turn on the lights and open the garage door and make sure your water heater doesn’t explode through the roof.

Electricity is the analogy you use to describe living at its furthest expression—hair raising from your arms, fully pressed in, waiting for the moment, sparks ready to collide.

And still, electricity really doesn’t taste very good.
