Hello friend—you’re receiving this email as a part of morning reading, a daily reflection on the parts of life worth living for that you signed up for sometime last year. I've got a laundry list of additions, designs updates, and website pieces I want to make, but ultimately, I just wanted to bring this back. Thank you for reading, and a very happy New Year.
Invitation Is EverywhereJanuary 23rd
Good morning, friend. If you’re reading this, the door is still open.Yes, you have walked a thousand roads in your life, but there are tens of thousands still available to you. You could start by looking for the new: what is happening now that has never happened before? In the world, in your backyard? What things are being brought to an end, what things to a beginning?Or you could start where nothing is changing: where you have gone thousands of times before. What have you missed? What thing have you not tried? What person have you not asked? What new beginning is hiding in the one thousand and oneth day of the same?Don’t let the lack of envelope fool you. The missing stamps and address and the fact the postal worker never knocked on your door in the process. There aren’t enough 5x7 cards in the world to hold the invitation that is forever around you—waiting, patiently, to be accepted. And if you’ve already had more newness today then you can stomach, well, take heart:There’s invitation to tomorrow, too. Journal Prompt: What are you being invited into today?
