The corners of the marble look no different. Discarded stones, miscolored brick, stacks and stacks of materials that might as well be at a hardware store.

The carpet is the same. Needs vacuuming almost always. The bullet holes lay in wood no different than that of your walls, of your floor, of your door.

In the quiet of museums, it’s easy to miss the quiet voice, staring out into history, whispering it’s oldest lesson:
