drama doesn’t care
Morning Reading for January 27
Drama is big and bold and so, so sexy—kicking down the door on our boring lives of doing laundry and paying taxes, taking us out for a night on any and every town.
Drama doesn’t care what you build so long as you build it big. Doesn’t care what you say so long as you say it loud. Doesn’t mind where you go so long as you break the speed limit the whole way there.
Drama’s got the whole town on the hook like the pied piper, just behind everyone’s lips, on the tips of everyone’s tongue, filling hearts with gratitude for having something better than the weather to talk about in low, excited voices.
But ultimately, drama doesn’t care if you’re living a tragedy or a comedy. Doesn’t care if there’s a surprise death in act two. Doesn’t care if you get written out by season three.
Because the only thing drama cares about is more drama.
Thank you. Let’s have a great day.
