If you duct-taped a couple of shoulder straps on a high-power rocket, pointed it East and, after a considerable amount of math, timed it out perfectly, you could launch yourself at a precise trajectory and velocity to watch the sunset for an entire day.
Many attempts have been made to this end—forgoing all the boredom of night, passing over every mid-day energy crash, flying above the evening commute as you permanently bask in the warm, low light.
This has come at the cost of many singed leg hairs, many long nights wearing the buttons off of calculators, and many calls home letting them know you’re just about to solve it, just about to crack the code.
