rubbernecking

Morning Reading for June 23

We don’t fight our way through a two hour traffic jam to discover it was caused by someone getting a promotion.

Don’t sit and wait because everyone a mile up is gawking at a marriage, or a new child, or an A on an algebra test.

We don’t fight the urge to stare at a new deadlift PR. Don’t get caught up in the scenery of a recipe perfected.

Does it say something about humanity that we only cause pileups when there’s a pileup? That we make bad situations worse because we’re so invested in gawking at the bad situation?

Thank you. Let’s have a great day
