two games

Morning Reading for March 24

There are two games worth playing, two games worth becoming very, very good at.

The first is the short game. The shortest game you can imagine. In fact, the winner is the person who can focus on the smallest single period of time: what should I be doing right now, at this precise moment, without a single care for what’s happening in an hour?

The second game is the exact opposite. The winner is the person who can play the longest game possible—can string together the right moments, not caring for how long they take, bringing everything together to the perfect end result.

Thank you. Let’s have a great day.
