Ah, the blank page—

We love you in all your emptiness.

Love all your fast confusion, your waveless sea, your complete and total absence of, well, just about anything.

They say the Hebrew word for holiness translates literally to something like “otherness”, and if that’s true, what could be more holy than the blank page? The wide stretch of never things never seen that never will be seen?

And if the blank page becomes something more, well—could it now be a love letter to something else?

Maybe even literally?
