What You Remember

October 6

Taken against the scope of your entire life, you remember surprisingly little.

Tuesday breakfasts, high school tests, whole years of early development, completely unavailable to you now.

That doesn’t stop those things from mattering. From being important. From, in the simplest terms, mattering.

So if so much of what is important to you lies beyond the realm of memory, why would you worry so much about remembering?

What you learn, what you read, even this—forgotten, and important.

Morning Reading is a daily email to help center yourself, reflect, and prepare for the day. It’s sent with love from your friend, Zach in Austin, Texas. He even drew the logo himself.
