do the right thing

Morning Reading for May 7

Doing the right thing is already incredibly difficult.

It’s a lot easier to do something else, or more often, do nothing at all.

But it’s even harder to do the right thing when no one asks you to do the right thing. No one takes the time to communicate the broader context, the consequences of what you did, and why a certain course of action is the right one.

It’s possibly the hardest of all to do the right thing when no one will recognize you for doing it.

Do you have the strength to see the seed of possibility in people and actions you might otherwise rage against?

The possibility of them deciding to do the right thing?

Thank you. Let’s have a great day.
