Schrodinger Tries Ping Pong
September 29
There’s two ways to win a game of ping pong.
The first way is to win the game.
This require a great deal of skill. Hit an impossible shot, land a nasty serve, string together a brilliant series of overhands, backhands, topspin, backspin, and all other manner of complicated ping pong moves.
The second way is to simply avoid losing.
Keep everything on the table, return everything that comes your way, even if it’s a bit—well—pedestrian, for lack of a better word. Biding your time, waiting things out for that specific moment—when your opponent tries just a little too hard, and you don’t have anything to return anymore.
It’s a whole lot easier to win when you don’t beat yourself.
Morning Reading is a daily email to help center yourself, reflect, and prepare for the day. It’s sent with love from your friend, Zach in Austin, Texas. He even drew the logo himself.
