Thank God For the Loading Screen

Thank god for the load times, the brief, quiet moments populated only with our frustration, watching the water on the stove while internally, we boil over.

The oil change that turns into a $1200 repair, the internet service that shows up 6 hours late, cracking the screen on your phone for the umpteenth time and knowing there’s nothing to do but wait out the repair. 

After all these years, no matter how many times we face it, patience still requires patience—always a little more, always just a little longer…
